A MAN who died after collapsing at Ashbrook School was a workman, police have revealed.
The incident happened on Friday at the Victoria Avenue school at 2pm.
Paramedics tried to save the man's life but were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.
A police spokesman said the man was in in his mid-forties and was "a tarmacker".
He added that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and the inquiry had been passed on to the coroner.
