A 66-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist has been taken to the Royal Derby Hospital following a collision with a car.
The rider was on his Suzuki bike when it was in collision with a Skoda Octavia outside Newton Grange Caravan Park, in Newton Grange, Ashbourne at 10.45am.
Emergency services were called to attend and the rider was taken to Derby where he has been treated for what police have described as "minor injuries".
The man driving the Skoda was unhurt, firefighters made the scene safe and the incident was cleared by 11.30am.
