A CYCLIST who died in a collision in Derbyshire has been named as Malcolm Cottam.
The 55-year-old suffered serious head injuries and was airlifted to hospital from the scene in Dronfield on Thursday, July 31.
Earlier this week police issued an E-fit of the cyclist to help identify him.
Officers received a substantial number of calls after the appeal.
Today, Mr Cottam, from Sheffield, has been named after being identified by his family.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Police thanked the public for their information leading to his identification.
