NEW signing Lucas Akins gave Burton Albion a 1-0 half-time lead in their League Two game at Oxford United this afternoon.
Akins' put Gary Rowett's side ahead in the 42nd minute after good work by Richard Beavon.
Beavon and Akins were two of five new players making their debut for the Brewers, with goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin, John Mousinho and George Taft also in the starting 11.
