FIREFIGHTERS are at the scene of a chemical leak in Ascot Drive involving a heavy-goods lorry.
A fire service spokesman confirmed a 20m cordon was in place and officers from two different stations were at the scene, which is close to Thirsk Place.
Roads have been busy and motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
Updated 6.13pm: Firefighters and now in the process of leaving the scene and a spokesman confirmed no chemicals entered the water.
