A £12,000 DIAMOND which dropped 100,000ft from space after being launched from a Derbyshire field has STILL not been found - a month later.
The cushion-cut gem was attached to a helium balloon in August and launched into space from a field in the county.
It was part of a PR stunt, called #Diamondsinthesky, by London jeweller 77 Diamonds. The diamond is thought to have landed somewhere in a small village in Lincolnshire but it has not yet been found.
It was fitted with a GPS tracker, showing it reached 100,000ft before plummeting back to earth and landing somewhere in a five-mile radius of the village of Lea.
