THE A38 was left partially blocked after a three-car crash in Derby.
A Ford Focus, Volkswagen Panel Van and a Vauxhall Zafira were involved in a collision on the northbound carriageway today at about 2.35pm.
The incident happened between Markeaton Island and Palm Court, causing heavy traffic.
Police said the fire and ambulance services were called out.
A spokeswoman added: "No-one was seriously injured but one driver has been taken to hospital."
The vehicles were recovered and the road was cleared by 4pm.
