NORWICH City have knocked Nottingham Forest off the top of the Championship table - for 24 hours at least - thanks to a 3-0 win at Brentford.
Forest take on Fulham on Wednesday evening and Norwich took advantage at Griffin Park as Cameron Jerome struck twice after Alex Tettey had opened the scoring.
Watford's 1-0 win at struggling Blackpool was enough to send them above Stuart Pearce's men into second.
A 68th-minute Matej Vydra penalty was enough to seal the three points.
Wolves came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw at Charlton Athletic, Danny Batth cancelling out Andre Bikey-Amougou's opener.
Leeds United also recovered from a goal down as they won 3-1 at Bournemouth.
Andrew Surman put the Cherries ahead but Leeds hit back with goals from Souleymane Doukara, Giuseppe Bellusci and Mirco Antenucci.
Stevie May and Jeremy Helan were on target as Sheffield Wednesday triumphed 2-0 at Birmingham City, with Ipswich Town beating Brighton by the same score, courtesy of Jonathan Parr and Daryl Murphy.
An early goal from Enrique Garcia Martinez gave Middlesbrough a 1-0 victory at Cardiff City, while Chris Powell's Huddersfield drew 0-0 with Wigan Athletic.
Joe Mason's hat-trick helped Bolton Wanderers see off Rotherham United 3-2 and Simon Cox struck twice as Reading beat Millwall by the same score.
Derby County take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Wednesday night.
