A DERBYSHIRE fashion store has proved it is one of the country's best independent shops by winning a major industry award.
Young Ideas, which moved to a new home in part of the Green Man Royal Hotel building in Ashbourne two years ago, has won "Premium Fashion Independent of the Year", in the Drapers Independents Awards 2014.
More than 70 independent retailers, brands and agencies were in the running for the prestigious awards, which were revealed at a lunchtime ceremony at The Brewery in London EC1 on Wednesday, September 17.
