HEAD coach Steve McClaren has made three changes to his Derby County side for Wednesday night's Championship clash with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park (7.45pm).
Cyrus Christie is recalled at right-back in place of Sunday's goal hero Ryan Shotton, while Jamie Ward, who missed the 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest with a hamstring injury, comes in for Johnny Russell.
And as expected, Zak Whitbread starts at centre-back in place of the suspended Jake Buxton.
With Rams loan striker Leon Best ineligible to face parent club Blackburn, there is a place on the bench for England Under-20 international Kwame Thomas, with the experienced Lee Naylor also added to the matchday squad.

"We feel we have freshened it up a little bit and we have got a side that is capable of getting the three points, which is what we are here for," said Rams coach Paul Simpson.
"We have faith in the players that they can go and do that job for us."
On Ward, Simpson said: "At a push, he could have been involved at the weekend against Forest but with hamstring injuries, you just can't take a chance.
"We didn't risk him and, hopefully, he will be able to go and show us what he is all about."
On the inclusion of 18-year-old Thomas on the bench, Simpson added: "Kwame deserves his opportunity. We wanted an out-and-out striker on the bench.
"We have also got good options with Jordon (Ibe) and Johnny Russell.
"It's a little bit unfortunate on Ivan Calero, who's done very well but he misses out tonight.
"By bringing Kwame in, we have got a player who has been doing well with the under-21s.
"His confidence is high because he got himself a goal with England a couple of weeks ago and he deserves his opportunity tonight."

Midfielder Jeff Hendrick remains sidelined as he recovers from a dislocated shoulder.

Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer named an unchanged side following Saturday's 3-1 home win over Wigan Athletic.
Former Rams striker Luke Varney and Derby-born midfielder Lee Williamson are among Rovers' substitutes.
BLACKBURN ROVERS: Robinson, Baptiste, Hanley, Kilgallon, Olsson, Marshall, Cairney, Evans, Conway, Gestede, Rhodes. Subs: Steele (gk), King, Varney, Williamson, Taylor, Duffy, Tunnicliffe.
DERBY COUNTY: Grant, Christie, Keogh, Whitbread, Forsyth, Eustace, Hughes, Bryson, Ward, Dawkins, Martin. Subs: Roos (gk), Shotton, L Naylor, Mascarell, Ibe, Russell, Thomas.
REFEREE: D Webb (County Durham).
