TRAVELLERS have moved onto the Allenton Market site in Derby.
Police say they were called to the site on Tuesday night at around 10.30pm.
A police spokesman said that at that time there were around 20 vehicles at the site however on Wednesday evening there were only thought to the be eight vehicles left.
The market is owned by Derby City Council and the police spokesman believed that they had begun action remove the travellers.
