A BOMB disposal unit were called to a Derbyshire field after a shell was found only a few metres away from houses.
The discovery was made at Nan Gells Hill, Bolehill, near Matlock, at around 5pm on Friday
The squad had rushed through Derby city centre to attend the scene. When they arrived they made the shell safe.
