DERBY-born centre Jonathan Joseph is one of seven Bath players to be selected for England's squad for the autumn rugby union internationals.
Joseph is included with Manu Tuilagi injured and head coach Stuart Lancaster is confident that he, along with a number of others, can stake a claim for a permanent slot in the squad.
Lancaster said: "We have included Jonathan as an injury replacement for Manu.
"It is obviously disappointing to lose Manu but JJ has been in great form and deserves this chance.
"Our medics will continue to work closely Leicester's and ensure that Manu is supported in his rehabilitation from his injury."
England have called up three uncapped players in Bath winger Semesa Rokoduguni, Saracens second row George Kruis and Northampton flanker Calum Clark.
