AN arrest has been made after a 28-year-old man was left in hospital following an alleged assault in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Derbyshire police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in the Bolehill area of Matlock.
No further details are known about the arrest.
A police spokesman said: "Anyone who saw or heard a disturbance in the Bolehill Road, or the Lanes area of the village, between 2am and 3.30am is urged to call Derbyshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 155 of November 15."
