MATTHEW Pughsley, 28, of Main Street, Linton, Swadlincote, was handed a 12-month community order, ordered to pay £85 costs, a £60 victim surcharge and £300 compensation and ordered to carry out 140 hours of unpaid work for criminal damage and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Swadlincote on May 21.
ROBERT Roe, 31, of Chapel Street, Kilburn, was handed a three-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £12.08 compensation, £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge for stealing £7.79 of ice cream from One Stop convenience store in Derby on August 11 and a further £4.29 of ice cream and milkshake from the same store on August 13.
NAHIM Rashid, 39, of Crewe Street, Derby, was fined £145, ordered to pay £35 costs and a £29 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for driving with illegal tyres on May 1 in Waldorf Close, Derby.
NEIL Hutchings, 51, of Amberwood, Newhall, was fined £346, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge and disqualified from driving for 18 months for drink-driving in Darklands Road, Swadlincote, on October 17.
MOHAMMED Afzal, 30, of Branston Road, Burton, was fined £400 and ordered to pay £450 costs and a £40 victim surcharge for failing to give information about the driver of a vehicle police suspected was involved of an offence in Ripley on or after January 14.
RICHARD John Moore, 33, of Birkbeck Close, Mickleover, was fined £350, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £35 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for 22 months for drink-driving in Fox Close, Stenson Fields, on October 18.
MAREK Tokar, 27, of Dale Road, Derby, was fined £250, ordered to pay £35 costs and a £25 victim surcharge and disqualified from driving for six months for driving without insurance in Violet Street, Derby, on May 2.
PETER Kearney, 53, of Poole Street, Allenton, was handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge for stealing £13.28 of alcohol from B&M Bargains in Belper on November 2.
