TRAFFIC lights have failed at a major junction in Derby due to a mains power failure.
Police were alerted to the lights going out at the junction of Uttoxeter Road and Manor Road shortly after 1.30pm.
A spokesperson for Derby city council said: "The engineer has informed us that the signals are out due to mains power failure.
"Western Power have been contacted and have informed us that it is a known fault and the power should be back on in the next hour.
A police spokesman said: "We have officers at the junction helping the traffic to move but it is a busy junction."
