SPONDON Girls' Brigade has celebrated its 90th birthday.
It is part of the Derby and District area and is the oldest one in the patch.
On Saturday, a party was held at Spondon Methodist Church, in Lodge Lane to celebrate.
There were entertainment displays, former members and current members and leaders as well as old photographs and uniforms.
Joy Tomlinson, who has been an officer with the brigade for 40 years, said: "When I was a girl in the brigade, we used to have so much fun.
"The brigade is more relaxed nowadays. We used to have to get our badges within about six weeks. Now it is not as intense."
