RICKY Hill went missing from the Royal Derby Hospital on Tuesday, September 23, 2014.
Since then, hundreds of people have joined the search to find him and his photograph has been shared by thousands of people across Facebook and Twitter.
On October 6, his family appealed for help to find Ricky, 30, of Somercotes, in the Derby Telegraph.
Wife Dawn said nothing has been heard from him since he was last seen at 8.30am on the day she went missing and she was worried about his state of mind.
On October 27, a poster campaign was launched to try to find him.
Five days later, his family walked 13 miles up the A38 from Derby to Alfreton in their search for clues to his whereabouts.
And, this month, a group of private investigators joined the search for Ricky.
But, on Sunday (January 11), police said a body they had discovered the previous day in a wooded area near Balmoral Close, Littleover, next to the Royal Derby, was believed to be missing Ricky.
Formal identification has yet to take place.
