A CYCLIST was threatened with a knife and forced to hand over his bike in a disused car park in Derby. Police said the man was riding along an alleyway leading from Osmaston Road to Ascot Drive, before cycling into the car park.
They said the 25-year-old was then blocked by four youths, who told him to get off the bike.
A police spokesman said: "One of the youths then produced a small flick knife, after which the victim got off the bike and handed it over.
"The group then ran off with it in the direction of Ascot Drive. The bike was a Forme Sterndale 1.0 XC Sport in blue and black."
It happened yesterday at about 1.15pm.
Police said one of the robbers was white, aged 15 or 16, about 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build with spots at the top of his cheeks. He wore grey jogging bottoms and a light grey-hooded top with a black Adidas logo on the front.
The second was black, aged 15 or 16, about 5ft 7ins tall and of slim build. He had short black hair and wore a dark red t-shirt with a white Nike logo and grey jogging bottoms.
The third was white, slim build, 5ft 8ins tall, and about 17. He wore a black-hooded top and black jogging bottoms. The fourth was white, 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build and aged about 17.
