Parts of East Midlands Airport were evacuated because of a false alarm.
It is understood a fire alarm went off in the Burger King outlet at the Castle Donington airport.
Passengers were evacuated for about 20 minutes.
A spokesman for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue confirmed they did not attend the incident.
