This dramatic video shows dangerous driver Asad Hussain fleeing from police in a high-speed chase.
The 28-year-old mounted pavements and grass verges as he was pursued by officers through Normanton on May 21.
He finally ditched the car, ran off and managed to escape.
But he handed himself in to police six days later and was released on bail with a condition of not being allowed to drive.
But on July 1, Hussain, of Arlington Drive, Derby, was arrested on Rowsley Avenue for careless driving and refused to give a urine or blood sample.
Hussain admitted dangerous driving, careless driving, failing to stop and failing to supply a blood sample.
He was jailed at Derby Crown Court for eight months and banned from driving for 18 months.
