RISING star Jack O'Connell, of Alvaston, will be coming home to introduce his new film Starred Up when he appears at Quad in Derby on Thursday.
Twenty-three-year-old Jack, who is a patron of Quad in the Market Place, will introduce the final night of the film, followed by a question and answer session, starting at 8.55pm.
In Starred Up, Jack stars as Eric, a troubled and explosively violent teenager who is 'starred up' from his young offenders institution to an adult prison.
There he finds himself in the same prison as his father, played by Ben Mendelsohn. His father attempts to steer his son on the steady path of prison life, but Eric is not so easy to control.
